Film Lightroom presets
5 packs for film photography, from $14.99 to $79. Every pack shown before and after.
Grain is the part everyone notices and the least important part of it. What separates a negative from a clean sensor file is where the curve gives way: shadows that stop short of black, a highlight that bends for a long time before it lets go, colours that drift as the exposure climbs instead of holding their place. A texture overlay leaves all of that undone.
The five packs here narrow as you go down the list. Chrome Film Library by Chrome Film is the broad one, a hundred looks that cover the range rather than argue for a single roll. Analog Portrait System by Warm Negative is thirty built around faces, warm and low in contrast, with skin sitting in front of the grade rather than under it. 35mm Everyday Film by Japan Film is ten for the camera nobody was careful with: soft corners, a light fade, colour muted and leaning green.
Two of them answer one situation only. Cinema Night Car by Night Halation is ten looks for a car on wet asphalt after dark, where the bloom around a neon sign and its reflection in the road are the subject and not a flaw to clean up. Airy Film Portrait by Pastel Film goes the other way, ten that stay pale and open, built for the frame lit by a window with nothing much behind it.
If you are grading a whole shoot toward one feeling, the hundred-look library gives you somewhere to move as the light changes across the card. If you already know which picture you are chasing, one of the ten-preset packs puts you in front of it with fewer decisions to make on the way.
