Seasons, winter and snow Lightroom presets

Snow is the reason this correction exists at all. It is lit by the sky, so it records blue, and an automatic balance trying to average a frame that is mostly white pushes it further the wrong way.

Snow Field by Whitepoint is eighteen looks for cold ground and pale winter light. White comes back to white without draining the blue out of the shadows that earn it, and enough separation is left in the flat areas for a field to keep its shape under overcast. Mist, a mountain lake, bridge cables and a coastal village are the frames it is shown on.

That is the whole of this group as it stands. Winter shooting overlaps heavily with high ground, so the open landscape and altitude group is where to look next.
