Mono Lightroom presets

Grain is the part most conversions leave out. Strip the colour and a flat wall, an overcast sky or a stretch of skin has nothing left to hold it: no texture, no edge for the eye to catch, just a smooth field of grey that reads as empty rather than quiet. Film never had that problem, because the grain was in the material.

Grain 400 Mono by Mono Film is ten black and white looks with grain in the name and in the result. The ten are shown on the page below against the untouched frame, so the grain is something you look at rather than something you take on trust.

That is the only pack here today. Anyone building a deeper monochrome shelf will find considerably more waiting in the black and white group.
