A newborn frame asks for very little and punishes anything more. Contrast eased, the toe lifted, the highlight rolled off before it hardens, the red pulled back so new skin stays milk rather than blotch. Every preset here does that first, quietly, and then attends to one small thing.

The Wrap is the posed frame: Wrapped Calm, Sleeping Curl with the fold between limbs opened so it never turns to a hole, Quiet Breath resting on tone rather than hue, Little Yawn forgiving of movement, First Portrait, Hushed Frame with a small vignette drawing in on the wrap. Skin is the close work: Milk Skin, Fresh Down, Tiny Hand, Toe Curl, Downy Cheek with red moved toward orange so blotchiness settles, and Parent Hands, where two very different skins have to sit together.

The Set is the studio itself: Knit Bonnet and Wool Layer with the texture eased so fibre reads without going crunchy, Basket Nest and Studio Warmth with magenta pulled back so cream stays neutral, Cream Blanket for off-white on off-white, Soft Bounce with the dehaze taken negative so a feathered modifier keeps its bloom.

Why I Make These

I am Netzah Elad Topaz. I take photographs and I build software, and the two keep leading me back to the same problem. You were there. The light was doing something you will not see again. Then the photo comes back flat, and it is not what you were looking at.

Closing that gap is the whole job. Every preset here is built from Adobe defaults by hand, with a written note for what it should do to a picture, and it is judged on real photographs before it ships. Nothing is a filter dropped on top of your work.

What I want is simple. You open a photo you almost gave up on, you tap once, and there it is: the day you remember, not the file your camera handed you. That is worth doing properly.

Questions, answered

The blanket keeps going yellow.

Studio Warmth and Basket Nest warm the midtone on the grading wheel and pull magenta back, which is what keeps cream from tipping to yellow. If it still leans, drop the yellow saturation one step and leave the warmth where it is.

Do these work in the free Lightroom app?

Yes. Import the .xmp files in the free Lightroom app on iPhone or Android, no subscription needed. They also work in Lightroom Classic and Lightroom on desktop.
