About this pack
Light and airy on its own goes plastic. These ten looks keep the brightness, the soft contrast and the held highlights that define the airy portrait, then put film under it: a fine grain, a slight fade in the blacks, colour muted a step. Skin stays peach and even, warmth is allowed a touch above neutral so airy does not mean cold. The result is bright without being clinical, which is what separates a film wedding photographer's airy from a phone app's. Pastel 400 Portrait is denser and greener; this is lighter and more neutral. Ten presets, one look, one job, stepping from a light touch to the full fade so you pick the version the frame wants. XMP for Lightroom Classic and Lightroom desktop, DNG for the free Lightroom mobile app; exposure and crop are left to you. Pastel Film is the quiet, cool side of colour negative, for light that should stay light.
- Airy without looking plastic
- Grain and fade underneath
- Highlights held, exposure lifted
- Peach skin, neutral warmth
Light and airy portraits, couples, family sessions in bright soft light.
Pastel Film is the cool side of colour negative: shadows that lean mint or lavender, skin that stays pale and clean, highlights that open up and float. Where the warm rolls feel like late afternoon, this world is morning: overcast light, white walls, garden weddings, a nursery. The dialect is airy, quiet, faded and gentle. Grain is fine, blacks are lifted high, saturation is muted and tint drifts a few points green. Every pack promises one specific thing the cool negative does to light, skin or shadow that a warm roll cannot.
Every pack here is its own product with its own page, so you buy the one look you need, and a larger pack or the family collection is always one step up from it.
