True Skin makes one kind of light.

Window light portraits come out with skin half a step warmer and whites still white.

Window Light Skin is 10 presets for portrait photography. Every one of them is below, before you pay for any of it.

About this pack

Window light is soft and slightly blue, and skin under it goes flat and cool. Window Light Skin adds a small warm move to the skin band only, lifts the midtones by a touch and leaves the whites of a shirt or wall exactly white. Contrast stays low because you chose soft light for a reason. This is True Skin's natural line: true colour, honest skin, no plastic finish. Contrast stays gentle, saturation stays close to what the camera saw, and the only real moves are in white balance, tone and the skin hue band. Faces keep their texture and their colour reads as the person, not as the preset. Every preset in the pack passed a skin safety score of 8 or higher, highlight safety of 7 or higher, consistency of 7 or higher across our test frames, a transformation strength between 2.5 and 5.5, so the edit shows without taking over before it was allowed in. Ten presets, one look, one job: pick the frame, apply, fine tune exposure and you are done.

Fair, olive, warm and deep skin each get their own packs because one curve cannot serve all four. Window light, strobe, hard light and backlight are separate jobs. Nothing here smooths a face into plastic or pushes skin to orange; the finish is true colour with a little polish.

Why I Make These

I am Netzah Elad Topaz. I take photographs and I build software, and the two keep leading me back to the same problem. You were there. The light was doing something you will not see again. Then the photo comes back flat, and it is not what you were looking at.

Closing that gap is the whole job. Every preset here is built from Adobe defaults by hand, with a written note for what it should do to a picture, and it is judged on photographs before it ships. Nothing is a filter dropped on top of your work.

What I want is simple. You open a photo you almost gave up on, you tap once, and there it is: the day you remember, not the file your camera handed you. That is worth doing properly.

Questions, answered

Does it fix the blue cast from a window?

Yes, that is the main job: the cool cast is neutralised on skin while the rest of the frame keeps its white balance.

Do these work in the free Lightroom app?

Yes. Import the DNG files in the free Lightroom app on iPhone or Android, no subscription needed. The XMP files work in Lightroom Classic and in Lightroom on desktop.

Will it smooth or retouch skin?

No. The presets set colour and tone only; texture, blemishes and softening are left to your own retouching so the result never looks plastic.

Is this pack inside Natural Skin System?

Do these work in the free Lightroom app?
